Decisive hour in important case, tough time for Hamza Shehbaz

Islamabad (Online Desk), A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial is hearing the case against the ruling of Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Sardar Dost Mohammad Mazari.

During the hearing, Justice Ijazul Ahsan asked Hamza Shehbaz’s lawyer to tell the point of the court decision referred to by the Deputy Speaker. Lawyer Mansoor Usman Awan said that the vote against the party policy would be rejected, this is the point. Justice Ijazul Hasan Giving remarks, he said that party directives and declarations are two different things. Can the party chief by the head of the parliamentary party? Lawyer Mansoor Awan said that the Supreme Court’s decisions stated that the party chief’s role is to give direction to the party.

Justice Ijaz ul Hassan while talking to lawyer Mansoor Awan said that direct answer to the question. Justice Muneeb Akhtar said that Article 63-A was amended after the fourteenth amendment. He instructed the lawyer of Hamza Shahbaz and said that in the amended article Read 63-A, there are two or three angles in the original version of Article 63-A. Lawyer Hamza Shahbaz Mansoor Awan said that Article 63-A mentions the party chief, according to Justice Azmat Saeed’s decision, the party chief makes all the decisions. Justice Muneeb Akhtar said that there are two different principles related to casting votes in the party policy, first, there was ambiguity in the powers of the parliamentary party and the party leader, after the amendment in Article 63 A, the parliamentary party has the authority to direct.
